Information we collect
Business listings include public names, addresses, and phone numbers. When a business contact asks for a welcome invitation, staff records their name, email address, company, and invitation status. When an owner creates an account, we store their name, email address, password hash, claim requests, and profile submissions. Support requests include the contact details and messages you provide.
How we use it
We use invitation details to send the requested welcome email and track account setup. We use account information to authenticate owners, verify listing authority, review updates, and respond to requests. Approved business information and photos appear publicly. Password hashes, account emails, claim evidence, and support messages are not part of public company profiles.
Cookies and technical records
A first-party session cookie keeps accounts signed in and protects forms. The application does not install advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Request limits use short-lived hashed network identifiers to reduce abuse. The hosting provider may retain technical access logs.
Photos and external links
Uploaded photos are resized and converted for display, with embedded location metadata removed. When you open an external company website or map link, that provider’s privacy practices apply.
Retention and requests
Account, listing, and invitation records are kept while needed to operate the service. Support and verification records are retained to resolve issues and maintain an audit history. Requests marked as spam are deleted after 30 days. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the support form. We may need to confirm your identity before changing private records.
